Inspire 3 won't sync with iPhone

I’ve only had my Fitbit Inspire 3  for 2 months and it won’t synch with the Fitbit app on iPhone (iOS 16.3). After trying to delete the device and reinstall it on my iPhone that stopped working too. When I first got the device it worked perfectly but after a week it stopped synching.

I’ve tried

reinstalling the Fitbit app

restarting the Fitbit device

restarting and rebooting my iPhone

deleting the device from my Bluetooth list

deleting the device in the Fitbit app (can’t reinstall it)

this is also the 2nd device I’ve gotten because the first one I had (also inspire 3) had the exact same problems.
after contacting Fitbit support, they tried fixing it by making me do all the steps I already made, all over again. nothing worked so they sent me a new one. The new one has the exact same problem.

can anyone please help me ?

My wife's iPhone 11 had a similar problem but deleting the Fitbit from the Bluetooth list and letting it reconnect seemed to solve the problem.  My 11 syncs always reliably within a few seconds.  We've only had these trackers for a week so maybe I'm just lucky!

Hi @Susan_db - this sounds like the Apple issue. Make sure you have the latest phone software.

Remove the Bluetooth entry from your phone and restart both phone & tracker.

In the Fitbit App click profile photo, "+ Set up a Device" and replace.

Hopefully that may work.

iOS 16 is the latest iPhone software.

If you put your Fitbit on your ankle when you ride your spin bike, then you just don’t get it.

Have similar problem with my inspire 3 and iPhone. Last few weeks it is not syccronise with the iPhone. When do it manually, it takes ages and multiple tries, sometimes it does sometimes it not. Restart device doesn't help. Latest app and ios.

I am having the same problem. On the fitbit watch, I get the chevron telling me that I am earning orange zone points. They never show up on the iphone app. I've called customer service and am told to send a photo. However, as many times as I have explained, they don't seem to get that there is no time to take a photo of the quick message about the points that then disappears. I have gone through all of the steps they suggest numerous times. Really disappointed. Thought I was upgrading but this is definitely a downgrade.
