New app and step count

I am so frustrated with the new app.  My step count has disappeared and I can’t find where to get it back.  I have used Fitbit for a long time and liked the ease of use.  This new version just appeared with no notice, or instructions.  Not worth the time to figure it out.  I am an iPhone user and am seriously thinking about just switching to an Apple Watch unless the old version can be brought back!

The same thing happened to me. When I open the app, I have to go searching for my steps.
