On my Inspire 3, this suddenly started happening where I don't get any notifications from my phone on it. App notications, text notifications, nothing comes thru. I don't have dnd enabled it just suddenly started happening one morning.
I discovered the fix was wiping the data on the app, removing the inspire 3 from my paired devices and opening the app again. Log back in, connect device via Bluetooth again and I have to readjust all my settings for the notifications all over again. The fix lasts for exactly a day or at least i have no way of knowing if it stops doing it in the middle of the night.
Just reseting the inspire 3 doesn't fix it, restarting phone doesn't fix it. I HAVE to delete the data on the app or Uninstaller/reinstall. Making me reset all my settings for the notifications again. This is very problematic for me. I leave my phone in one place a lot of the time so I rely heavily on the Inspire 3 notifications for work and for something important when I move around ALOT.
I'm not sure if it's something with the app or my phone but nothing changed the day it suddenly started happening. Just woke up for work one morning and it wasnt working. I can't even get the test call notification. That's how I know when I fix it; when I make the app do a test call.

Thank you for this! Connected with Google support. Make sure your Fitbit app is version 4.55. They are currently rolling it out so not everyone has the option to update yet (which is what I discovered for my phone). Seems I have to wait until I get access to new version then will test notifications again.

Same exact issue occurring here. Had the Inspire 3 working fine for about 3 weeks since I purchased, but suddenly no notifications are appearing (no calls or texts). I've unpaired, restarted, checked for DND, etc and nothing seems to work.
Best AnswerSame thing here. It seems to have started right after an Android update, but I have no idea if that's just a coincidence. It's very frustrating, as I've become quite accustomed to the wrist vibe so I don't have to have audio up to hear notifications from the phone when it's in my pocket. Google Pixel 9 and Inspire 3.
Best AnswerThose two I haven't tried. But I reseted my phone and watch and it didn't work. I also disconnected the watch from my account and paired it again and it didn't work either.
Best AnswerI had the same issue starting yesterday as well, also Android. I tried these steps from an earlier post but it did not work, but maybe it will help others:
Since multiple users are reporting a problem it sounds like a higher level issue that FitBit needs to address.
Same exact thing is happening to me and it's driving me CRAZY. I can use the Find Phone function without any issues. I made sure DND isn't on anywhere - not on my phone or on my Inspire. I'm baffled. I am also on an android. A Samsung Galaxy s20 FE.
So I'm seeing a huge number of posts in the Community regarding this, all just in the last month. This leads me to believe there HAS to be an issue either with an app or device update somewhere. I opened a case with Google, and recommend you all do the same thing so they get the idea. Not sure how much visibility these topics in the Community are getting from the actual Google workers.

Yeah, once I saw a lot of people were having the same issue, I chatted last night with a support member to get it escalated. Hoping I see the update to the app soon!
Boo, I'm on 4.53, but it's not seeming to show an update available. I hate trying to be patient!! Well, thanks for the update, anyway! Hopefully my (now escalated) case with Google will tell me how to fix.
@Ohkay91 What did they have you do that resolved? I saw the other commenter's post about needing to be at app version 4.55, but I'm only at 4.53 and can't seem to find a way to force the update. It's showing everything as up-to-date already. 😢
@ode2joy honestly, they walked me through steps I'd already completed multiple times. I'll see if I can dig the chat log back up, but the final instruction was force stopping the fit bit app, shutting down my phone, restarting my fitbit, then the phone, then syncing again.
That said, my notifications have disappeared again overnight. They gave me a reference number to follow up on so later today I'm going to chat again telling them the solution only worked short term.
@Ohkay91, I'm guessing you're probably right. My assigned agent came back to me late last night and said to uninstall and reinstall, and I should get 4.55 if I did that. However, I'm still only getting 4.53, so I guess it's just a waiting game.
Hello,
The update to version 4.55 has arrived, but unfortunately it doesn't fix the problem for me. The notifications worked for a few hours, and now nothing is working again. Am I the only one experiencing this?
Thank you for your response.
