My daughter got an Inspire 3 for her birthday (turning 13). Because they would be away, she got it like a week before her actual birthday. So she created a Fitbit account from her existing google account (child account tied to mine through Family and "supervised" through Family Link. When we tried to set up the device, we found out we couldn't because she was still underage - with only the kiddie devices showing on the add device scree,
So we waited a week. Now she has had her google account changed to a normal account from a child account, and the Family Link has been turned off. She logged out of and back into the Fitbit app on her android phone, but when she tries to add a device, she still only sees the kids devices.
Do we need to wait or day or so for everything between google and fitbit to synch, or is there another issue?
I checked and 13 is the age of consent for this in Sweden (also confirmed as Google told her that now her account could be changed from child to normal).

Ah well, apparently we just needed to wait. This morning (2 days after her birthday), I got an email from fitibit stating that my daughter's account could now be upgraded to a normal one, and how to do that.
And that worked without any issues,
