Question about Fitbit Air

I'm interested in the Fitbit Air, but I'm wondering if it's worth buying since I already have the Fitbit Inspire 3. Or maybe Google offers a trade-in for it?

To be honest, I don't really understand the differences between the Fitbit Inspire 3 and the Air, since I already have three months of Fitbit Premium with AI Coach.

Hi @egnompaln   This article in 9to5google has a better description than the Community Blog post on this site.  The Air is an entirely new design.  It has no screen.  Comparing it to any current model is like comparing apples to oranges.

The Google Store has a trade in program for the Air, but you must order before May 25.

The big difference is that the Air has no display.  No clock, no heart rate, no exercise stats, no way to choose what exercise you are doing.  Probably makes it cost a lot less (and the charge should last longer) but in my opinion, it will lose all of its standalone functionality.  I don't generally take my phone with me when I'm exercising and I like to stop auto-started exercises when I'm done.  Without a display, I don't think that will be possible.  A huge step backwards for me.  And with a new app coming also, I fear for a major downgrade in utility.  We shall see at the end of May.

I was also thinking about the Fitbit Air/Google Air (whatever they are calling it), but after reading what features are being removed from the Web App, I think, I will pass.
