I am replacing an Inspire 2 with Inspire 3. So I have the app already installed and don’t want to lose its history. How do I do this?

Before you start, make sure you manually force a sync from your old Inspire 2. That gets all your data to the main Fitbit database.  Then from your phone app, still logged into the same account, from Today screen, tap icon at top left that shows battery % to take you to screen labelled "Connected to Fitbit".  Near the bottom, tap on 'Add more devices'.  It will show list of all devices.  Tap Inspire 3.  It will say something like 'You already have an Inspire 2 connected. Are you replacing this?'  Say yes, and continue from there.  Fitbit takes care of disconnecting previous tracker and connecting new.  When you get to setting up new, it often helps to move any other bluetooth devices except phone, including old tracker, to another room, so it has easier time isolating new tracker.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
