STILL unable to manually add steps

I lost track but I have posted this issue too many times. Theirs is NO WAY to manually add steps. Tapping “+” only gives me sleep options. This issue started the same time google took over. Multiple updates but none of them fixes this issue.
I am Leary to delete the app and start over fear of losing all data.
Google, FIX the **ahem** problem already!!!!

Hi @Vhartline, thanks for stopping by, I hope you're doing well.

Let me help you with the issue you are experiencing while trying to add steps with your Fitbit app. I'm sorry you haven't gotten a successful response.

I've searched that you have posted this question a few threads before and that you have received some responses from other users.

As they have previously said, there hasn't been a way to log steps per se, but to log an activity from distance, time and Calories stats. This being said, the app will calculate your steps based on your walking/running stride length depending on the type of activity you are logging.

If you see only a sleep log while tapping on the + button on the today's page, please share a screenshot of what you are seeing in order to further investigate.

Another way to add an activity, is by tapping on the daily activity tile (the little man running), then the plus button.

Hi @Newmootoyou   Please tap on the Edit pencil in the upper right of you app.  Look for Exercise in the Activity section and toggle it on.  You must have a tile toggled on to get that option when you tap on the green "+" button.  For example, my Manually log section has Activity, Sleep. Food, and Weight.
