I've had my Fitbit One for about 15 years. It's been through a lot and doesn't have any issues. It ever went through the laundry once while in its clip on my bra, and it came out perfectly fine. In fact, a standard wash cycle equals 149 steps and 4 floors. LOL! I'm always one who waits until one thing dies before getting the next, but I'm starting to want one that will monitor some heart things since I'm old.
The Inspire 3 seems to have all I need without a subscription, but a lot of reviews say it died within months to years, and it looks like it sits up pretty high on the wrist. I haven't worn a watch for ages, and that would take some getting used to. I know I can get a clip and use it like the One, but I would sacrifice the health things.
Can anyone help me with this decision?

@kehanopni the Inspire 3 is a good device and I enjoy mine. I've seen some good prices lately, so it may be a good time to buy one.
On the other hand, Google has confirmed that there will be new Fitbit hardware in 2026. They have not said what this new hardware will be or when exactly we can expect to see it. It won't be a smartwatch, so it will be a tracker of some sort.
If I were in your position, I might stick with the One for now until there's some info about this new Fitbit device. Then you can make an informed choice between a new Fitbit model or the Inspire 3.
