Did something just change (7/12/24) Tracker went from actually tracking stages to just telling me I was asleep. No comparisons or other info.

@MaryMichelle60 From time to time every user gets sleep patterns instead of sleep stages. The older version of the app used to show a little box that said, "Why did I get sleep patterns instead of sleep stages?" The typical answer is that your Fitbit couldn't get detailed heart rate data. Your heart rate graph might not show any gaps, but Fitbit looks at beat-to-beat heart rate changes during sleep. Sometimes people won't get their breathing rate and their HRV when this happens, too.
The usual recommendation is to check your Fitbit's position on your wrist. Make sure it isn't too loose. But don't make it too tight, either.
