My sleeping heart rate average seems high. I'm old and have to get up about 3 times at night to pee, so naturally my heart rate goes up into the 70's at those times. While asleep it's in the 40's, and daily resting heart rate is in the low 50's. So my awake times at night get averaged in to my sleeping heart rate, making it totally inaccurate. How to correct this? I have Inspire 3.

Hi @Fanniemae, Thanks for stopping by, I hope you're doing well.
Let me explain to you how your device tracks your sleep sessions.
When you wake up during your sleep, your Fitbit device should recognize that you are awake. You can see this on the sleep report you get the next day.
In addition, the average heart rate during sleep takes into account your Light, Deep and REM Sleep. This being said, you need to keep in mind that during REM sleep, your heart rate increases. For mor information about this topic, i recommend that you take a look at our help article What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages? > below the section What does each sleep stage mean? >...

Ok, I understand that. But the heart rate explanation on the app states that most people have a sleeping heart rate 4 bpm lower than their resting heart rate while awake. Mine never is. Not once has my sleeping heart rate been lower than my resting heart rate while awake. Why is this?

Hi @Fanniemae, thank you for the clarification.
After research, i can determine that your average sleep heart rate should be lower than your average resting heart rate. This being said, i must ask if you see a percentage of REM sleep time too high. Personally, i believe that a few minutes awake to go to the bathroom shouldn't impact the measurements. However, i don't have the last word. Maybe a screenshot of your sleep summary may help us find out the source of these inaccuracies. I appreciate your time in this process.
