Software Update on FitBit Made It Lose Functionality

Hi there! Ever since I did my first software update on my new Inspire 3, it no longer automatically uploads my workouts to Strava, does not awaken when I flick my wrist, and did not sync with some other settings I changed in the fitbit app. What do I do?

Hi, @Stepo14 , unfortunately sometimes a software update on the device causes some settings to revert to their defaults.  (I find this often happens with the screen wake feature and the dominant/non dominant hand setting.). You may need to re-set your preferences.

I am not sure what your various settings are .  You mention the screen wake.  To check whether that has been turned off from the clock face screen of your Fitbit swipe down and make sure that “auto wake” is set to “on”.  You may want to swipe through and check other settings.

I would recommend re-setting up your Fitbit’s link to Strava and hopefully it will go back to uploading your workouts.  (If it still seems to be linked, but is not behaving as expected, please revoke the link and then re-set it).

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the Community Forums!
