Tracking Concern

Hello,

I found a concern with the Inspire 3. Yesterday while operating the John Deere mower, cutting our acreage and wearing the Fitbit. The Inspire 3 recorded this activity as though I was riding a bike. This action throws the data off as it's incorrect. It also recorded the Cardio load at 95 which would be incorrect. My question: Can this data be removed? If not, the only recourse is to not wear the Fitbit during this activity. Comments?

You can delete the false activity. Go to  'Activity' in the App and you should find it there.  Click on it and there should be a trash can icon in the upper right corner. The same thing happens to me when using my snowblower.  Also, for the biking activity, you can turn off the "Auto Start" start option under 'Bike' exercise on the Fitbit.

Thanks for the updates. I found each and either deleted the data or turn
off the exercise. Perfect.

@KJeff   The information shared by @TheNeilHaley is incomplete.  The instructions will help for the exercise auto-start feature.  Bike is also tracked using SmartTrack and you need to turn this off, too.  To turn it off:

  • Tap on your Exercise tile on the Fitbit app
  • Tap on the three dots in the upper right of the screen, then Activity settings
  • Scroll down to the Auto-track activities in the Feature settings section
  • Tap on Outdoor biking and toggle it off

Deleting the activity may or may not change the cardio load you earned.  Cardio load can come from tracked activities and general background activity.
