Walks not registering as exercise

Good morning! I’m I y two weeks in to using the inspire, so learning as I go. Yesterday it stopped logging my walks as exercise- did two, today I’ve done one so far. Neither logging. I searched help topics and saw a post from 2018 that said close and open app and log out if that’s not successful- but as I use google acct I can’t even log out of the app. It did log my workout this morning though. Any ideas? Thx in advance 🙂

You can manually start the exercise tracking and stop it when you get back home. If you do that a time or two you may find it starts picking up on it again. It’s possible your heart rate has acclimated to your walks and isn’t accelerating enough for your tracker to pick up on

That’s what I’m doing, manually starting and stopping, but it’s not tracking as exercise in the sense of activity for the day. It will say I had no exercise. So far, a workout still shows up (that I’ve started and stopped). But walks are not. And that’s a huge part of my daily activity.

Thanks!

Do you carry a cellphone while walking?  If you do, you could connect your phone to the Inspire 3, then turn on the GPS when you are walking.   Sometimes, the 'auto-start' and 'auto-end' for exercises can be a little janky.  Will give you more details about your walk.

Thanks for the idea. I do usually carry it, and the starts and ends are functioning well, it just never populates into my exercise for the day category. It will show that I did no exercise for the day if all I did was a walk for example.
