My daughter has an Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. I have just got her an Inspire 3 and in spite of trying every single fix I can find on the internet it simply will not allow notifications or even register her phone is ringing on her Inspire. I've done the battery saver thing, allowed all the permissions, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. There is nothing left to do. It has the permanent Notification Service Not Running. Phone Restart Required, which of course does nothing. Am I basically looking at ditching the Fitbit or the phone here?

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @susiejean!
Sad to hear about your trouble getting the Inspire 3 working with your daughter's Redmi Note 9. Assuming that notifications are working on the phone itself, there are a few things to consider on certain Android phones. Therefore please check for possible solutions in this article:
What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?
Also please make sure that your daughter's phone is running the latest Android version, which for the Redmi Note 9 should be MIUI 13, based on Android 12, released in January 2023.
