Inspire 3 - Blank screen but still works

hi all i have just been on holiday and i wear my fitbit all day everyday, i have had it 3 years but the other day i took a shower and came out and my fitbit had a weird kind of black screen, it still responds, still works but there’s a screen covering it if you press the buttons on the side it shows the normal screen for about 1 second and then gets covered by a black screen so you can’t see what you’re doing on it, wondering if there’s any solution to this

I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Inspire 3 had a kind of black screen. 

This is definitely not the experience wanted for our customers, and I understand your feelings about this situation. 

Please note that even though it may be ok to shower with our water-resistant devices, not doing so reduces the potential for exposure to soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, which can cause long-term damage to your device and may cause skin irritation. We also don’t recommend wearing any of our devices in a hot tub or sauna.

If your device gets wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. If your device comes into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser (like Cetaphil) and dry it with a lint free-cloth
