I want to change from Google login. My employer is offering a wellness challenge and I must provide my Fitbit UN/PW to the app my employer selected. I DO NOT want to share my Google UN/PW with other apps.
I searched the community and found a 2014 post, but I think that Fitbit has changed the process. I don't see any useful info in the user manual, the community, or the app.

Hi @USFlibwalker you can't change back once you switch over to the Google account. This is a new change, as we will all be required to have a Google account by 2025. You might be able to begin a new account, using a different email address, but not a Google account. You'd lose any activity, but it might be the only way to keep your Google account secure.

@USFlibwalker I'm sorry, but answers from older posts won't help. They are out of date. Also, all new accounts must be Google accounts. @Odyssey13 is correct. You can't go back to a Fitbit account. The only way to participate in your challenge is by supplying your Google UN/PW.

This is good to know. Each year we do corporate sponsored challenges which use an app that links to the fitbit account, and I had no problem with using that login and keeping it linked, but to my personal Google account? No, thank you! I have not yet moved my Fitbit account to Google and I'm not sure I want to.
