inspire 3 water lock failed?

Hey all. Looking for some insight. Took my Inspire 3 swimming at the beach for 30 mins, enabled water lock prior. Dried the device off after, forgot to disable water lock at the time though it was not submerged again. Few hours later it starts buzzing and I see the logo flash up before it's black. Buttons still vibrate on touch. I plugged it into charge and held the buttons for 10 seconds to reset. Nothing changed - tried running a software update (not sure if this worked - after running the update it always says there's another. I've installed like 10 updates by now. Maybe this is also bugged) and changing the clock face on my app. Now I can see my screen, but it won't register touch. Additionally, the battery goes from 100 to 0 in 6-8hrs now. It used to take 8 days. Unsure if the water lock failed and the device is ruined. Help would be appreciated. I think I've had it just over a year so I don't believe device is under warranty. Additionally, I believe water damage is not covered though I may be wrong. I rarely take my device into water - I remove it to shower and have only taken it to the beach once before this instance.

Hello @auriinkko and welcome to the Community.  I'm sorry to learn that your Fitbit malfunctioned after swimming.  Let your Fitbit dry out for several days and see if that helps.  You can contact Support for more help and guidance.  But the main purpose of my post is to clarify the water lock feature.  The water lock keeps the screen from getting activated from water and splashes.  It doesn't change the water integrity of the device.  Your Fitbit didn't fail because you forgot to set the water lock.
