I'm sorry to know about the experience with Inspire 3. I'm not sure if you are experiencing issues just with notifications. In this case I'd recommend you:
Check that DND and Sleep haven't been turned on. Press and hold the button, scroll left and DND and Sleep should be off. Please, make sure to follow all the steps listed here to resolve problems with notifications. This has been useful for other users experiencing the same problem.
In addition to the steps mentioned earlier, make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed and to check all the compatibility requirements here.
