I was talking with a friend today about plantar fascitis. I don't have this problem. I had not been searching online for solutions. I didn't have my phone with me. But I was wearing my Fitbit Inspire 3. An hour later, I got a text message from a local physical therapist asking if I needed help with plantar fascitis!
I am worried now that my Inspire 3 is listening to me and somehow communicating with vendors based on my conversations. Is there a way to stop this?

Hi @shannonstoney I have the Inspire 3 and haven't had any such thing happen. This device lacks a microphone which means it can't hear you. I'm not sure what happened to you, but it's not uncommon for local businesses to send out texts or a pop up ad hits the phone when you're close to a fast food place.

@shannonstoney The Inspire 3 doesn't have a microphone. It can't listen to you.
