Over the weekend, my Ionic died, I didn’t have my charger with me. Upon getting home and plugging it in to charge it now has the battery with the 0% symbol faintly in the background of the watch..I have tried shutting down, I have tried resetting it. Anything to fix this or is the watch toast?

It is dead. I have the same behavior with my watch and there is no procedure to get it back. In fact, there is a design problem and Fitbit will never ever acknowledge it.
