I started with a cheaper fitbit, but moved to the Ionic and even bought the matching Aria Scale with body fat %....long story short....never take off except to charge and I have now had 6 different Ionics....some replaced by warranty, some replaced by 35% discount and some bought with hip national bank....I love the product, but the company support for defective hardware/software is unbelievably poor. Not one of my Ionics lasted beyond 6 months.....initially always was informed that the problem was my phone(s)....I've literally switched phones for a better chance of Ionic continuing to work.....Updates kill the happiness....I did not get a discount after my last Ionic replacement lasted less than 60 days....I decided to go to the Sense and give this company one more chance.....I did buy a 2 year warranty.....so we will see.....I'm interested in hearing alternative product reviews like the new Whoop fit band
