Do we have an update on when we will have a watch face for Dexcom? I bought an Ionic because it was anounced it would be available in 2018.

Thanks Collette

I have a question. Why did Fitbit keep on stringing us along only to now say that Dexcom App Integration is not currently planned? Goodbye Fitbit... I will make sure to stop by the Apple store on my way home.

This was the only reason i bought an ionic. I already had a charge 2 which i hadnt had that long.

Hello Yojana -

Your responses here disappointing. I realize that you are just the messenger, but it is absolutely infuriating that integration with Dexcom being treated as a new feature suggestion from customers. We didn't make this up ourselves and shouldn't have to vote for it in hopes that maybe someday Fitbit will decide to work on it after all. We all got the idea that this was coming in 2018 from Fitbit's own press releases, e.g.:

https://investor.fitbit.com/press/press-releases/press-release-details/2018/Fitbit-Announces-Health-...

So was this just a lie?

My husband got me a Fitbit Versa for Christmas. I wanted this watch instead of another smartwatch because Dexcom integration was coming imminently. The implication in the press release is that the Dexcom transmitter would talk directly to the Fitbit Versa, but even the simpler step of just having the Fitbit app get data from the Dexcom app and display it on a Fitbit watchface (as the Dexcom app already does with Apple and AndroidWear watches) would go a long way for those of us who are currently very disappointed.

At an absolute minimum, an honest statement acknowledging that Fitbit has decided not to provide this feature that was previously advertised would be appreciated.

Not gonna happen. There is a long thread on Versa forum in which the conclusion is that the feature is not currently planned ( as @DavideFitbit claims 😞

Yes, I know, I've been reading all of these threads this morning. It's still infuriating, since the partnership between Fitbit and Dexcom was announced (repeatedly) by them, and now it's being treated like an out of the blue suggestion by some customers.

Hey there, I have been going around on threads trying to help out those who are asking for a Dexcom watchface/app because I have heard of lots of people struggling to find something! Especially with the rumored deal supposed to be going down.

I actually created a watch face and app to tie into your Dexcom.

There is another thread that you can read through. It has links/tutorials to get it all setup!
