Fitbit Ionic is completely dead

My Fitibit ionic has been having issues after i swam with it. the battery died real quickly. And now it is completely dead. I have tried to charge my ionic, tried to restart by pressing the left button and the bottom right button but all in vain. Please asssit ASAP.

Hey my friend @HrsKe, how are you? Thanks for reporting the issues with your Ionic.

 

I'd like to mention that Fitbit products are made to be water resistant. Fitbit Ionic can be worn in the lake, the pool or the ocean, and Fitbit Ace can be worn in the shower. Still, it’s important to thoroughly dry your elastomer band and tracker and remove any debris from your device after wear in the water. You can check some other tips on this article, to make sure your Ionic works perfectly.

 

Thanks for trying the restart, please make sure you're following all the suggested steps to charge your Fitbit: How do I charge my Fitbit device? If this is not working we might have to check with our support team.
