Hi, I am a new user to the Fitbit charge 3.

please, could you help me with my issue regarding:

How can I get accelerometer data from my Fitbit charge 3?

If I can not get accelerometer data from Charge 3, what are the alternative options, please?

what is about fitbit lonic in this case? Useful?

With many thanks

@Gassar   Storing the raw accelerometer data would involve a lot of memory.  I am taking a SWAG (that is a scientific wild ass guess) that the accelerometer data is processed on the device to decide what is and what is not a step.  That "step" is the data that is stored on the device.  It shouldn't matter whether you have a Charge 3 or an Ionic.  The major hardware difference between the two devices is that the Ionic has built in GPS.

Hi @Gassar

I'm assuming from your question that you are a programmer. If so, check out the SDK forum on this site.

@Gassar   If you are referring to the Fitbit app for Windows 10, I don't think you will see anything significantly different from your phone app.  You can see screenshots of the Fitbit app in the Microsoft Store.
