I do routines that often involve runs interspersed with exercise like burpees, pushups, sit-ups etc. My problem is my watch frequently pauses the exercise during pushups and burpees. I think the angle of my wrist is pressing the pause buttom (bottom right one) during the movement.
Is their anyway to "lock" the watch so it doesn't do this? Having a fitness watch not designed to cope with an exercise like pushups seems unlikely, so their must be a way.

There is no such provision.

Couldn't agree more. My fitbit is almost useless for body weight workouts as it pauses so much during exercises where my wrist flexes.
I was just looking for an answer to this. Today, my watch paused 45 minutes of an hour on the treadmill. Ticked me off. I don't like having to constantly check my watch to see if it's paused. There needs to be a lock.
