So I get after reading all the forums about active minutes. But just still seems odd, 3 bike rides this week over 50 minutes each and you get a Zero.
Maybe have an option in exercise set up. So that an exercise can count toward active minutes.
How fast does one need to ride to count? 40 minutes in fat burn with an added 25 minutes in cardio should count for something (especially for those of use that need motivation and are just starting out).

@SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well! Thanks for taking the time to post the situation you are experiencing with active minutes while biking on Ionic.
Fitbit calculates active minutes using metabolic equivalents, which are the METs. They measure your energy expenditure and are indicators for exercise intensity. Fitbit trackers estimate your MET value in any given minute by calculating the intensity of your activity.
For example, an MET of 1 means that your body is at rest. Fitbit trackers will give you active minutes when you reach an MET of 3 or above. Minutes are only awarded after 10 minutes of continuous moderate to intense activity.
The more calories you burn the higher your MET value, so therefore the more calories you burn the higher your total active minutes. Remember that the intensity of the exercise is the key. Often what seems like the exact same amount of effort over the same distance in fact differs slightly enough to change your active minutes total.
Did you burned a lot of calories while biking? It doesn't depend on how fast you go, it depends more on how intense it is and how many calories you burn while performing the activity.
If you feel that your watch is not being accurate; please perform a restart on it. This should refresh it.
Keep me posted!
