Adding songs to a playlist

I have already downloaded 190 songs  playlist to my Ionic from itunes. I added 5 songs to that playlist on iTunes and wanted to copy those 5 to my Ionic. Do I have to re download all 190 if I just want to add the 5 new songs I added to playlist?

Hi @ptflynn,

The app is aware of which playlist songs are already on the watch, and should only upload the new ones that aren't yet on the Ionic. That's how it's worked for me.

I assumed that's how it should work, but when I clicked on the playlist to download from, it says I have 2 1/2 hours estimated to download and is starting with the first song on the playlist and working it's way down the entire playlist..all of the songs in the playlist start with a grey dot and then as it goes through each song, it's adds the purple dot as if it's re downloading them all over again
