Battery life

Hi all I notice that battery life is really bad when using the gps tracker ( around 4 hours if I’m lucky ) if I switch it off can I still use the gps on my phone like the blaze and if so how do I do it many thanks John

Sorry, that is not possible. The GPS does diminish battery life as it also does in the Surge.
