After update, screen does not reset to clock face anymore

Hello there,

I updated my Fitbit Ionic last week with the latest software and am using the 'Arc' clock face. Prior to this update, if I woke the screen, either manually or automatically via motion, the screen always started on the clock face unless I had been checking another metric (e.g. heart rate) less than 10-15 seconds prior. Since the update, my screen always opens to the last view (e.g. heart rate), even if the last time I checked my screen was hours prior. This is quite frustrating since most often, I just want to check the time, so when I wake the screen with motion, I then have to click through each metric until I land on the time. I have checked various settings and cannot find anything referring to the secondary screens timeout or anything. How can I restore my watch to work the way it did prior to this update?

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Thank you for that suggestion! I restarted it twice last week and have restarted it 3 times today and the issue persists.

Try a Factory Reset by swiping left to Settings and then About, Factory Reset.
