Hi,
I'd really like to be able to set the silent alarms from the Fitbit app. Obviously doing it on the watch is handy but also a bit fiddly. This used to be possible on the Surge, can we please have it back?
Thanks

According to fitbit, with the Ionic you can:
"Set, manage, and delete silent alarms directly on your watch’s screen in the Alarms app ( ). You can also manage alarms in the Fitbit app or fitbit.com dashboard. "

Are you sure that the alarm setting has gone from the app?

It would appear that alarms do indeed need to be managed on the Ionic, possibly due to the alarms now running as an app in their own right, rather than an integral part of the OS.

No, It's definitely not possible from the iPhone app at least.

I can also confirm that the alarms are now on the Ionic and not on the phone app. Personally, the way the alarms work on the Ionic, is just as easy as it was on the app, only faster, since now they don’t need to sync up any longer. This must have been a huge customer request that they listened to and implemented.

That would be great if the Ionic didn't keep crashing every time you try to set an alarm! I agree that through the app was much easier.

Yes! That way you can have it at the foot of your bed at night and you have to stand on it in order make it turn off. This ensures that you get out of bed in the morning.
