Android - Quick reply doesn't work

Heyy,
So I just downloaded the new firmware for my ionic and the new update for the fitbit app. In the new firmware update details it says that quick responses will be available for Android phones. I have an Android phone, why am I not able to send the messages on the watch itself? When I click on the messages (from WhatsApp), it only shows "clear" and not "reply" (i have already changed the default quick replies in the fitbit app and synced)
what should I do? I'm desperate, would be veryy grateful in case someone could help me!

I have the exact same issue. Sony xperia here. Please let me know if you find a solution I tried everything!!

@Bastet7 me too, i tried everything. I wrote to the support, but they couldn't help me. It seems as if it's a software problem. Which Android version are you running? I've got Android 6

Also 6.1 here. Do you think it might be impossible for us to have quick reply?
