Android application version 2.78 (20213313) not showing heart rate

The issue of the Android Fitbit application not showing the heart rate is reoccurring.  The Fitbit application updated this morning, and now I do not see the heart rate -- just two dashes.

 

Steps is updating in real time, so that issue did not recur.

 

Are other users experiencing this defect?

The issue appears to have resolved itself.  Now I am seeing my current heart rate on the Android application.
