I have a Pixel 2 and an Ionic. At first i was having the syncing and notifications issues. But then it would work. Every once in awhile it would not and i would just restart my phone, good to go. But this time, nothing. Phone syncs with app and everything fine. But im not getting my notifications on my watch at all. Ive already tried watch restart and phone. Im getting tired of pair unpair and so forth. Ugh.

BTW, also swipe right at the clock face on the Ionic and check to make sure Notifications says receive from phone. I have found mine to occasionally end up being shut off there. Not sure if it a glitch or I am inadvertently turning it off myself.

@PinoyDDragon Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for sharing this with us. I was checking the list of supported devices and I couldn't find the Google Pixel 2. As it is not listed, I would say that is the reason why the notifications are intermittent on your mobile device.
By any chance, do you have any other phone model that is listed there that you could try connecting?
Keep me posted!

Ive tried it on an iphone 7plus and was having the same issues but more frequently. Yhe pixel was fine for 2 weeks more or less. Then back to this.

I can suggest a work around that worked for me that you can try. I was having problems with the notifications as well and this is what I did:
Go to the Ionic settings on the phone app. (tap on the icon that looks like a page on the upper right of the home page screen).
Tap on the Ionic device on the list.
Scroll down and tap on the Notifications in the General settings.
Disable the Text, Calendar Events and Emails then tap on the App Notifications. Select the notifications you want from the list - emails, text, etc...
For some reason the dedicated notifications on the first screen did not work for me but selecting the individual apps worked to get me the notifications on my Ionic.

I have done what you suggested "wtksk8r" and here is the result: my Ionic vibrates but shows no notifications. In fact, the notification page does not open on my watch.

Make sure your phone and watch are paired and syncing. If you can sync your steps abd stuff, should be ok. My settings are the default text and call, then the additional apps. I didnt do like suggested. Mine was actually just the setting in the watch being off.

All the sync stuff is fine, it's the notifications coming form my phone that are not coming up.

Did to swipe right on your watch and check to see if it says "receive from phone" under notifications?

Of course.
