Android with Iconic

Hi everyone 😊

I currently have The Fitbit Alta working with my Samsung A5 2017. When I was looking at upgrading to the Iconic, I noticed my phone isn't listed as a compatible device! I have never had any issues with syncing etc, but I have read that some people do.

I'm trying to decide whether to get one or not. I don't want to buy it, if it doesn't work with my phone. Surely it all depends on the Android version you are on.

Fitbit told me that it might work, just the engineers haven't added it to the list of devices.

Anyone else have the A5 2017 and Iconic?

I think the compatible device list is a bit out of date. I have an LG G6 which isn't on the list but works perfectly fine.

Also if you buy direct from Fitbit there is a 45 day money back guarantee, so if you do run into compatibility issues you can ask for a refund within that period.

Thanks for the reply.

I think you might be right! I guess if I have any problems, the forums are pretty helpful.

I'd like to use it for swimming/walking, so hopefully it will be good! I have no issues with my Alta, so fingers crossed.
