Auto Recognize Exercise Stopped Working

My Fitbit ionic stopped auto tracking exercise yesterday. It will still track exercise if I engage the activity. I reset the Fitbit and I have reset my phone.  It is still tracking my heart rate so I’m not sure why it stopped auto tracking the activities. It’s the same sport (Pickleball) that it has tracked for over a year. Yes the activities are over 15 minutes and yes the heart rate is high enough. Last update was two weeks ago and has worked up until yesterday. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Community @AndrewA77. I appreciate the details mentioned in your post. Thanks for the information you've checked before.

SmartTrack recognizes activities based on the continuous movement of your arms. Sometimes, motions such as placing your arms on the bar of a treadmill, or pushing a stroller while you walk, may interrupt SmartTrack. Additionally, stopping in the middle of an exercise may interrupt the activity tracking.

I would like you to change the minutes for the SmartTrack activity to be recognized. In this case, change it to 10 and try tracking an activity. It can any walking or running just to test this out. After this, you can try with Pickleball.

Let me know how it goes.
