Is anyone else seeing the automatic que settings always resetting to notifications every 0.5 miles on walk? I try setting it to every 1 mile, but it keeps going back to every 0.5 mile. I seem to remember, before the most recent update, it would stay on every 1 mile, once I set it.
Not sure if it acts the same for run or not.

I've had this too.
I find that if I change it to a mile on the watch the change is temporary. But if I change it on the web interface then the change is permanent.

@SunsetRunner I hope you're doing well! Are you still experiencing this setting changing to default?
Also, is this happening during your exercise routine or after you have finished it?
If you have a video showing what you are experiencing, that will be super helpful to continue troubleshooting this!
Keep me posted!

Yes, this is still occurring, whenever I start my morning walks, I have to set the 'que every' setting to 1 mile. It always is at 0.5 miles, when I check it, prior to my walk.

Thanks Steve, shouldn't be different, but it appears it is. That's software for you.

Looks like they managed to 'fix this', now if I set it from the web, it stays for a day, then reverts back to 0.5 instead of 1.0.

Good thought, Steve. However, my watch still reverts back to 0.5. I have the setting at 1.0 mi on the phone (even deleted the exercise and re-added) but the watch reverts back to 0.5 mi at some point. I only noticed it when I go out for a run. I hope a bug fix is in store in the future.

I think the reset occurs at some point during the night. I have verified that my Ionic is at 1 mile (for my walks) when I go to bed at night. However, when I get up it is back to 0.5 miles, and I have to set it to 1 mile before my morning walk.

I have this same problem for walks and runs. The autocue setting always resets to 0.5m. And I need to adjust my autocue to a mile every time. I've already reset it for my morning walk. And will be doing the same for my afternoon run.
Changing it in the mobile app and on the web interface makes no difference whatsoever.

After reading your post I tested mine and it did the same. Didn’t do it till the latest update. Hope they get it fixed.

Disagree that this is solved.

I have the same problem. The data fields also reset to default unless I start the activity straight after I change them.

When will this problem get solved?. It is 2019. This bug has been out there for ages now.
Even if I change the cue through the web settings from 0.5 to 1.0, they get changed back the next time I come around.
Having to reprogram the default cue setting every time is daft. Please fix this.

Just recently purchased ionic and thought it might be a fault/bug with mine doing this. Seems like it’s been an issue for a long time now… 2 years for a fairly basic bug is pretty poor.

I agree with the others about the issue being resolved. I have updated the setting in the dashboard and the setting continues to reset to .5. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE.

This apparently has not been addressed- I've changed the setting in the app on my phone and iPad, and also my online dashboard. They all state my cue for walking is 1 mi., but every day my watch is reset to 0.5. I change it back to 1 mile on my watch every day I go for a walk, but the next time I go out, it's back to 0.5. This makes no sense. Could someone at Fitbit please respond?

I'm sad to hear there is no fix "in the immediate future". Basically, Fitbit doesn't care about the user experience for runners. They believe going into the settings each time for a run is acceptable. No, thanks. Looks like I'll have to find a product that actually works with the options provided. Time for a Garmin.
