Automatic Cue Settings Resetting

Is anyone else seeing the automatic que settings always resetting to notifications every 0.5 miles on walk?  I try setting it to every 1 mile, but it keeps going back to every 0.5 mile.  I seem to remember, before the most recent update, it would stay on every 1 mile, once I set it.

Not sure if it acts the same for run or not.

No, the reset will happen even when it is on your wrist.

Today before a run, I changed it to 1.0, then tapped the picture to connect the GPS. It connected. I did not start my run right away, so it stopped waiting and went back to the main screen. When I tapped to connect GPS again, it did so, but it had reverted to 0.5 again.

Which pretty much means that it needs to be reset to 1 mile every single time.

Not sure if this is the same issue or just something similar. Device Charge 3: l tried setting voice cue to 0.5 miles, check mark appears next to 0.5 miles. Then when I exit the screen the whole app closes and the cue resets to 1 mile. This does not happen when I change the setting to 2 miles or back to 1 mile. Only issue is when I use the 0.5 voice cue setting. I have tried making changes on the website, iPhone app, and IPad app. Apps and watch seem to be the issue. Website stays with the 0.5 mile cue, but does not transfer the setting to watch or apps these all stay or automatically reset at 1.0 mile.

I am having the same problem, last week 8/12/19, my charge 2 stopped cuing at the .5 mile. It reverts back to the 1 mile.

how did you get it fixed.

I've been looking for a solution for a long time. I started my search again and I found this post on reddit. Surprisingly, the suggestion works.

  • On the watch itself: Exercise > Run > Settings (gear icon) > Automatic Lap Settings > Lap Every

  • On the app: Ionic icon (top left) > Exercise Shortcuts > Run > Cue Every

  • On the Web UI (fitbit.com dashboard): Settings (gear icon, top right) > Ionic (left hand side) > Exercise Cues

This solution does not work anymore. It used too before I got a replacement Ionic.
