Automatic sleep mode?

I thought that my Ionic didn't vibrate for notifications when it sensed that I was asleep. Is that true? I've been using it for years and never been disturbed. But I did a factory reset and can't find this setting, only the sleep mode which you have to manually turn on and off. And it's now disturbing my sleep. Was I just not quite asleep, or does this automatic setting not exist?

It does not automatically turn off notifications when you are asleep, but 'Sleep Mode' does that.  Maybe you had sleep mode times set up but factory reset lost that setting.

You can turn on sleep mode each night in Quick Settings, set it from Settings.

I must just usually sleep deeply enough that a single vibration doesn't
wake me... Do any fitbits have an automatic sleep mode based on when you're
actually asleep?

No Fitbits automatically prevent notifications when asleep.  No everyone would want them off.

Sure, I was just hoping it had the option for those that did want
notification vibrations off during sleep, like being able to have them
automatically off during exercise, since it can tell when you're
actually asleep. Anyway, thanks for your help.

@KayDa   If you have regular or near-regular sleep times, then setting a Schedule on the device is the way to go.  See @JohnnyRow's screenshot.

From time to time, your Fitbit might say that you asleep when you are just very still, like watching TV or a movie.  Reminders to Move are automatically disabled when your Fitbit senses sleep.  I don't think it would be a good idea to have an automatic, disable everything function.

Thanks, but my sleep times are not that regular. Not everyone would have to
use it if automatic sleep mode was an option!
