Backlight coming on when not wearing ionic

It’s 2am and for the last 15mins I’ve noticed my Fitbit backlight has come on 6 times.  I am not wearing my Fitbit and have not touched it since going to bed.

as far as I know this has started today.  Alongside other issues of my coach app also starting on its own which it has also just done at 2am while I’m not wearing it or touching it!

@LJfitionic Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with Ionic's backlight and Fitbit Coach starting on their on while not wearing it.

This is very strange. By any chance, did something buzzed or vibrated at the surface your Ionic was on? That may have activated the sensors.

Something you can do to prevent this is turning the Screen Wake option to "Manual"  on your Ionic settings whenever you take it off. That way the backlight won't start on its own.

Regarding Fitbit Coach starting on its own; please perform a restart on your watch. This should help you out with this.

Hope this helps. Keep me posted! Smiley Happy
