Hello,
My Ionic battery dies very soon after starting my bicycle route map. Also the is no sync so no steps, no maps, nothing. I've tried turning everything off and on again, I've done updates on my phone, Last time I spoke with Fitbit I was assured that your company is working on the problems. Can you please help me.
Many thanks
Alan

Hi @melb5125, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I appreciate all the information that was shared in your post and for contacting our Customer Support team prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if both battery drain situation and the syncing difficulties were reported to them?
Let me share with you that the battery of our Ionic was designed to last 5 days but this also depends on how frequently you use it’s features. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much. After doing so, please this help article for more tips and recommendations.
If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Keep me posted.

Hello Ricardo,Thanks for your email.I'm still experiencing 2 problems. 1: I did another cycling ride today trying to record my route map however the Ionic power died once again after a couple of hours. This has happened many times lately. 2: I'm still waiting for the route map feature to be available after sync on my Fitbit app on my phone.
Thank you you in anticipation Alan

Hello Ricardo,
I charge the Ionic every night and it always indicates 100% charged. I've cut back the Ionic brightness and unnecessary features.
Before each ride I go to ride window and wait to be connected before commencing each ride.
If I stop riding the watch will pause as required.
Can you advise me how to alleviate the problem?
Thankyou
Alan
