Since yesterday battery indicator shows 40% and doesn't go down even 1%. It's not possible for so many hours ( and recording 1hr workout this morning ). I don't believe Ionic has such a low power consumption ( I wish it had though 🙂 ). I restarted device but nothing changed. I'm going to plug it into the charger later, maybe then something's going to budge. Not sure if it's a bug or feature 🙂

I didn't notice before but there is a lightning on the battery. Looks like it didn't register that it's been unplugged from the charger. Strange. How to fix that?

I checked it with the charger. Charged it up to 45% ( just short charging during lunchtime ) and now it's just stuck on 45%.
So now I have just one question: is my Ionic broken?

Is the display you’re referring to on the default Ionic watch face or is it on a face you’ve installed? I’m trying to understand where you’re seeing the charged status.

My bad. Charge status ( lightning ) was a part of the watchface ( custom ). Battery level hower doesn't budge ( swiping left shows battery level on separate screen ). I will wait till tomorrow. Then if I still see same numbers I am going to try the factory reset.

Possibly a watch face issue then.

If it was a watch face then the indicator would work on the "Screen Wake" screen ( not sure what this screen is named ) but it was showing same numbers as the watch face. Well, after few reboots I noticed it started slowly going down and today another thing happened. At 20% the watch just shut down. After plugging the charger it was 0%. Could be the battery is broken. Definitely, something isn't right.

@SunsetRunner another surprise this morning. Didn't know Ionic can be charged without a charger:
For few hours battery level went up from 41% to 45% overnight when I was sleeping and wearing Ionic. What the hell is going on with it? It's not the watch face problem. The last screen is not a part of watch face but Ionic settings and shows same battery level as the watch face. Did anyone meet problem like that? Looks like I can't trust the battery level shown and my watch may turn off at any time, like yesterday when showing 20% 😕
@Fitbit, any word of advice on it or as usual, you're going to shove dirt under the carpet?

My Ionic's battery behaviour is weird. I described everything in this thread:
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ionic/Battery-indicator-stuck/m-p/2582041/highlight/true#M39692
@Fitbit didn't comment on it. I actually started liking Ionic as a fitness tool, but yesterday, when it shut down at 20% of battery level and after plugging charger it appeared battery was depleted I start considering Ionic to be a piece of overpriced and buggy garbage without proper support. I really need to think things through before I spend money on something 😕

Have you tried a different charger? But yes, it does look suspect

Ionic comes with only one charger or rather charging cable. But if you mean the wall charger then yes, I tried different wall chargers 😕 The worst now is uncertainty when the battery is going to die. I'd rather have it working at least during workouts.

It could be cause you used a wall charger instead of charging from a computer.
If i remember well, ionic is not made to be charged from with a wall charger.
Yes, i know, this is stupid
(I have given up my ionic)
