Hi @deecbm Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with your tracking. Is it safe to assume you have auto recognize turned on, meaning you are letting Fitbit identify what type of exercise you are doing? I find for swimming, I need to edit the auto recognize time down to 10 minutes and then it picks up my swimming, but it may also depend on the type of stroke you are swimming. I'd suggest trying starting it manually. As for it misreading while you were driving, if you were moving your arms a lot and or had your arm out the window and thus was feeling wind resistance, it can pick that up as activity. Only you know how much you were moving during some of these things, so experiment with the settings and come for more help if that doesn't work.
Good luck!

@deecbm Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for reporting this. I'd recommend performing a restart on your Ionic. This should certainly help too.
Please check this helpful article about SmartTrack and how to delete and edit exercises. The exercises may have been recorded as per the movement of the van. Was it moving too much or was it a bumpy road? You can also turn off detection for one or more exercises.
Also, check if you have Swimming enable for SmartTrack. On your Android device go to Account and then to Exercise. Check if swimming appears as "ignored". Feel free to enable it if it is.
For more information on swimming activities please check this helpful article. You should find this useful.
@MarciM Thanks for your great help on this thread!
Keep me posted!
