I charge my Ionic every night. On those days I don't exercise so don't use the GPS, 2/3rds of the time the battery life is very good, 85-90% at the end of the day. However the rest of the time the battery discharges fast, 50% by lunchtime, dead by 6pm. The difference is stark, 99% by 11am on a good day, 70% on a bad. I am doing nothing different at all, no change to display settings, no difference in steps or stairs or the amount I look at the watch. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Tony

I have no idea what is happening there, but try restarting the Ionic several times and see if that helps.

I have no idea what's happening either, but I did find this article on best practices for charging your battery to make sure that you get the most out of your battery life.

Hi
Thanks very much for the reply/
Restarted yesterday morning, was great all day 91% when I went to bed. Thought that was great so did not put it on charge. Woken up at 2am with battery low messages. Put on charge , 100% this monring then dropped to 85% in an hour, restarted twice, and now has dropped to 84% in 4 hours. Obviously something is going screwy, but it gets fixed by a restart.
I really would like to get back to the point where it lasted for a couple of days/
thanks

Thanks for trying the tips suggested @Tony000!
Seems like the restart has worked out. Let me ask you to please keep an eye on the battery level and how fast is draining. If the issue persists, even after trying the tips in this help article: Can I improve my Fitbit device's battery life?
Keep me posted!

The restarts have certainly helped, but it's still weird. Yesterday 95% at 10pm, but below 80 by 11.
Today so far so good 98% at 15:30.
I'll keep posting of problems continue.
Thanks
Tony

Thanks for the update @Tony000! Seems that the battery is draining kinda normal for a smartwatch. Please keep an eye on the tips to make the battery of your Ionic last longer. But if you see a sudden decrease, without you using it too much, let me know. 😉
