Battery status with new OS2 update

Since my update a few days ago, I cannot figure out how to check my battery life while wearing the watch.  I use to be able to swipe and see what percentage my battery was.  How do you now check the battery life with the new update?

Swipe up from the clock face. It is on the top of the new Today area.

Also, another way is to check the available watch faces - several of them have the battery status on the watch face - if you can take the clutter of data on the main watch face screen.
