You can apply to become a beta tester, if approved, if and whenever Fitbit offers bets software, they invite people to apply to enter a beta test.

Over the last few years I've been in nvolved two tests, and only run 1 to 3 weeks.

Like to live on the edge, You can set it up so android will send you the beta version, when available, of the apps on the phone
