Fitbit needs to make a better quality product if they are not going to gaurrenty them. I can tell from the message board that I'm not the only one having problems with them. There is no way a $300 watch should give out after only one year. I've called for other problems that they claim they were working on but never fixed. Now my watch just died completely! And Fitbit thinks I'm gonna keep paying them $300 a year! I don't think so! I will be switching to Samsung.

Yep many report this unfortunately. Hopefully the brand understands it makes no real sense to manufacture devices that do not last. But that is an upper management business decision. No doubt they are tracking profit and loss. And market share etc.

My $300 Ionic just stopped working for no reason other than it seems to be a peice of crap! I was asleep when it went out! I first got into Fitbit when I found out that I have AFib. I thought this was a good way to monitor my heart rate, but it seems that I have put my life in the wrong hands!
How can Fitbit expect people to pay all that money for their watches if they can't make a watch that last more than a year. And i can see from the message board that I'm not the only person this happened to. They all seem to die conveniently just after the warranty expires Shame on you fitbit
