Bluetooth Synchronized Swimming

I have been thinking about purchasing a wireless bluetooth receiver to connect to our stereo system for my synchronized swimming team.  The idea is that I could stop and start the music from my ionic in the water and we wouldn't have to get in and out of the pool.  If I purchased a long range 30M (100ft) receiver, do you think it would work with the constant movement above and below the water?  We have 4 to 5 lanes in a 25M pool, but I would always be within 5M-25M from the receiver.

It's not likely that you would be able to maintain a bluetooth connection under water.
