Bluetooth connection difficulties

I bought my Fitbit to replace my TomTom runner, as TomTom no longer them such watches otherwise I would have bought a new TomTom. I find the Fitbit frustrating, the watch is a good watch and does work well, what annoys me is that it is very hit and miss when connecting via Bluetooth to my, phone, recently I have to reset my phone and was then unable to find my Fitbit via Bluetooth, when it did locate the watch it would not connect, what really annoys me is that not everyone can afford the most up to date phones i.e. IPhones to work with the Fitbit, it is very hit and miss with my Samsung and this frustrates me.

Hi @Rob124, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and how frustrating this situation can be for you, I'm sorry to know that you're having a hard time with the Bluetooth connection between your Ionic and your Samsung mobile device. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which phone are you using? Do you use another Bluetooth device at the same time you try to connect your Fitbit? For example, Bluetooth headphones or maybe a speaker? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Ionic and let me know if the issue persists.

Looking forward to your reply.

Hello

Thank you for your reply and I am sorry for the delay in  coming back to you, I wanted to try and see if my phone could sync when I was at work, but again I was having the same problem, occasionally the phone would find the Fitbit and would say it was paring but it would not complete that task. As suggested I did pair with a Bluetooth speaker and this worked find, I also tried a Fitbit restart again with no success. I am using a Samsung A5. I appreciate that this is not a phone that according to your recommendations works, but the fact it it was working before I needed to needed to restart my phone. I suspect my to my annoyance I will have to use the Fitbit via my IPad.
