Bluetooth issues with Ionic

I am having issues once I pair my Ionic with my echo dot and my Note 8. 

 

The Note  says it is paired but I cannot connect it to the Ionic

 

The same with the echo but I cannot control any music.

Update:

I know the device is paired with my phone because I get notifications.

I just tried to pair it with my BOSE soundsport and it pairs and then disconnects

When I choose an audio device like echo or the soundsport that is listed it says there are no devices

When I choose phone it says it is not connected to the phone.

Please don't tell me I have to buy the flyers for this to work
