I'm finding connection between my devices and Ionic very hit or miss. Sometimes I get notifications, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I can control my music on my devices, other times I can't. This is really annoying if I'm out running. Paired my Ionic to my iPod, iPad and phone. Is this too many devices? Is my Ionic confused with which to device talk to? Value any thoughts.

Hey there @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you around the forums! Don't give up on it my friend, I'll be more than glad to help. I know this is a new device and sometimes we need to know more info about how it works. Happened to me when I just got it.
Let's start with the Bluetooth, if your phone is managing multiple Bluetooth connections simultaneously:
These interruptions are typically caused by operating system and Bluetooth limitations. It's also possible that an app on your phone is causing the issue.
Also, syncing difficulty is usually caused by a missing requirement. Check the following:
If your device still won't sync, try these steps:
If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
Last but not least, to connect your audio device to your watch, follow the directions in this article.
Hope this helps, I'll be aorund if you need further help!

Many thanks, really helpful. However, while my iPad seems to connect via Bluetooth and I can control music using Ionic, my iPad is not listed as a connected device in settings > Bluetooth on Ionic. So it's not possible to switch which device I'm Bluetoothing from e.g. iPad to iPod. Can you help?

@SunsetRunner Try turning off Bluetooth on the device, iPad / iPod, you are not currently using.
The two devices could be contending for access to the Ionic.

I drive a Nissan Leaf which has built in bluetooth that you can't switch off and which my phone connects to as soon as I enter the car so that I can make and receive calls while driving. The problem is that every time I get in the car and my phone syncs, the connection to my Ionic is totally messed up so that I can no longer receive phone notifications for incoming text messages etc on my Ionic and my Ionic can no longer sync with my phone. In order to fix this I either have to turn off my phone bluetooth before I get in the car or I have to restart my phone after driving and take 10-15 mins of trying to force them to sync again before they will start working. So here's my question, is there no way I can let my phone talk to both at the same time without getting scrambled? Seems like it should be a pretty basic function with such technology and it's really affecting my enjoyment of the Ionic...
